Credit Risk Analyst - Financial Institution - APAC/US/EMEA Region

Position Title: Credit Risk Analyst - Financial Institutions

Corporate Title: Analyst / Associate

Location: Mumbai

Experience:

2 - 8 years' experience of reviewing and writing counterparty credit analysis

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for creating credit applications for approval, which includes completing counterparty credit write-up and generating counterparties rating in line with internal rating models, as well as ongoing monitor of credit profile and conditions, and escalation to onshore Credit teams of developing counterparty, industry or country concerns.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform annual renewals and run internal rating scorecard - Manage the annual review schedule and perform new counterparty assessments for a portfolio of Insurance counterparties.

- Support the input of credit limits or credit commentary in EDM based on priority and timeline agreed with onshore Credit Managers.

- Liaise with stakeholders that include Legal, Front Office, IDM- Data and Client, IDM- Reporting, Global CRM offices.

- Support ad-hoc projects such as UAT/ system testing.

Requirements:

- Experience of credit risk rating models and the key rating drivers

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite of applications with a focus on Excel, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables is important.

- Good analytical skills, identifying trends and individual company performance
