Credit Research Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Research Analyst to assess credit risk, analyze financial statements, and provide insights into corporate and industry credit trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, credit ratings, and risk assessment methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth credit research on companies, industries, and fixed-income securities.

- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and balance sheets to assess creditworthiness.

- Monitor market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and industry developments.

- Evaluate credit ratings, credit issuances and prepare detailed credit reports with investment recommendations.

- Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and risk teams to support investment decisions and activities.

- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting credit markets.

- Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in credit research, financial analysis, or related fields.

- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation.

- Experience with Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, or similar financial databases.

- Knowledge of bond markets, credit ratings, and risk assessment methodologies.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- CA / CFA designation (or progress toward it) is a plus.
