Key Responsibilities :

- Understand customer profiles and market needs through market analysis (including QFD, VOC etc.) and apply this knowledge to define and configure product requirements of the Used Car business

- Identify new product usage, customize solutions as per product development plans and timelines, and in alignment with long term business plan of the Used Car vertical

- Understand the market, map what competition is doing, and assist in product and price positioning

- Ensure successful launch of new products and create awareness of the same; Define clear USPs; Build sales and marketing strategy (geographic reach, pricing, pay-out etc.)

- Lead product branding, product marketing and campaign activities to enhance aided/unaided awareness

- Define product requirements and collaborate with the policy, operations, compliance and IT, etc. teams to ensure successful deployment as per the requirements and adherence to local regulations/guidelines

- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle starting from ideation, requirement gathering, design, development, quality check and execution, to adoption and post-release reviews and updates.

- Monitor training of the sales teams on product configuration, features, technical advantages/benefits

- Provide inputs/ insights on product pricing & marketing strategies; Highlight key differentiators & messages

- Ensure timely closure of product plans/designs by collaborating with different stakeholders

- Manage and track P&L of existing products and portfolio for the used car vertical; Monitor performance KPIs

- Enhance customer experience by continuously enhancing the process & product features.

- Ensure dedicated efforts towards streamlining of process-flows and SOPs to enhance efficiency of team

- Design incentive structure for both internal employees and partners (dealer/dsa pay-out strategy)

- Identify new sourcing partners and strengthen relationship with existing partners/platform vendors

- Responsible for evaluating competitor's strategy; market mapping of existing as well as new products (market share, pricing, pay-out strategies etc.)

- Ensure timely and accurate MIS submission and presentation to senior management team

- Ensure completion of all the defined training programs (both functional and technical)

- Take an active role in recruitment of incumbents into middle / senior positions for the department

- Ensure timely completion of performance review process & continually seek feedback from product head

Essential Experience :

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a product management role, experience with NBFCs/Banks is preferred

- Demonstrated track record of creative thinking, independent problem solving and effective quality checking and conflict management

- Ability to deal with new/difficult situations easily with a go-getter attitude

- Deep passion for building products/platforms from scratch in close partnership with concerned stakeholders with an entrepreneurial mindset

- Strong project management and effective communication skills

- Certifications in Six Sigma, green belt, analytics, etc. is advantageous
