Job description:

Looking for an SME credit specialist to set up a lending desk, that will cater to SMEs setting-up solar on their rooftops.

Position Deliverables :

The role envisages the following:

- Define the product and processes to enable lending to SMEs

- Enter into and manage partnership and alliances

- Driving the credit appraisal, decisioning and disbursement

- Manage field investigation and audit agencies

- Monitoring the portfolio

- Over time, building a team that expands this activity

About you : 

- You are a proactive and independent person and are looking to take on independent responsibility

- You are good with numbers, have an analytical bent of mind and are curious by nature

- You can work as an independent contributor with little/ no support

- You are looking to join a young firm and believe in our mission (The mission is to be an innovative market maker debt financing venture dedicated towards financing sustainable energy in India and catalysing the industry towards scale.)

You must have : 

- An MBA/ CA with 7-10 years of experience

- Done SME credit for a leading bank or NBFC for at least 5 years

- Hands-on and good inter-personal skills, with an outgoing attitude

- Attention to detail and accuracy

It would be nice if you had:

- Sales, policy, collection and/or product experience as it relates to SME lending

- Experience of working in any of the sustainable energy segments.

Willingness to travel on an adhoc basis to engage the market
