Credit Manager - Loan

Position: Credit Manager

Location: Chandigarh (ONSITE)

Experience: 2-5 years (credit Underwriting)

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct underwriting of loan applications by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, repayment capacity, and supporting documents.

2. Approve or recommend loan applications based on detailed risk assessments and company credit policies.

3. Monitor portfolio performance, identify risks, and implement strategies to minimize NPAs.

4. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal credit policies throughout the underwriting process.

5. Interact with applicants to address credit-related queries and facilitate a smooth loan approval process.

6. Collaborate with sales and collections teams to meet business targets and maintain portfolio quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
