- As a Credit Manager for Commercial Vehicle (CV) Loans in Pune, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the commercial vehicle loan portfolio.

- This role involves strategic planning, policy formulation, process implementation, and portfolio monitoring to ensure efficient and effective credit management.

Key Responsibilities :

Formulating Credit Policy for Commercial Vehicle Business:

- Develop and establish credit policies tailored for the commercial vehicle loan segment.

- Setting Up Processes to Ensure Smooth Workflow:

- Implement efficient processes to streamline the credit approval and loan disbursal workflow.

Automating Credit Policies in System:

- Utilize technology to automate credit policies and enhance straight-through processing capabilities.

Monitoring Portfolio Performance:

- Regularly monitor the performance of the commercial vehicle loan portfolio.

- Intervene proactively where necessary to mitigate risks and optimize portfolio health.

Publishing Reports on Portfolio Health:

- Generate regular reports to assess the health of the portfolio.

- Identify emerging trends and highlight high-risk segments that require attention.

Market Research and Policy Adaptation:

- Conduct field visits across different locations to gather market intelligence.

- Recommend adjustments to credit policies and processes based on market conditions.

- Collaboration with Business and Collection Teams:

- Work closely with the business development team to understand client needs and market dynamics.

- Collaborate with the collections team to enhance portfolio performance.

Underwriting Deviation Cases:

- Assess and underwrite deviation cases from standard credit policies.

PDD Management (Pre-Disbursement Due Diligence):

- Ensure thorough due diligence processes are in place before loan disbursement.

Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Management:

- Contribute to the development of the Annual Operating Plan for the commercial vehicle portfolio.

- Manage cost and loss budgeting to align with financial targets.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in credit management, preferably in commercial vehicle loans.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

- Ability to travel extensively to various locations as required
