Job Description

The Head of Credit would be responsible for spearheading the Pan India multi-channel credit function.

Responsibilities

The job responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to

- To be responsible to spearhead the entire credit operations, strategy, analytics & other support functions and to mentor & closely monitor the performance levels of all direct and indirect reportees.

- To develop and strategize various basket offerings in the SME credit space to ensure customized product offerings are based on analytical findings and provide mutually beneficial sustenance.

- To build partnerships and alliances with reputed service providers and strive to achieve the best deals to ensure maximum margin profitability.

- To set, achieve and conquer monthly, quarterly and annual targets in line with the company short term & long-term goals and objectives.

- To develop, direct and effectively execute the product life cycle & methodology, forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the credit function - tailor made to align to the diverse geographies.

- Constantly devise and recommend market disrupting strategies backed with market research and competition analysis.

- Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency.

- To partake in planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the firm and provide constructive insights at constant innovations and approach mechanisms.

- Direct the equitable assignment of the vertical workforce and ensures workforce is optimally allocated to all channels and resources. Ensure all departmental and company objectives are assigned and effectively communicated in an urgency driven and timely fashion.

- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.

- Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of reports and other intelligence essential to the organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.

- Implement enabling technologies that may support and enhance the operational effectiveness and strives to optimize organization technology spends.

- Structure & implement training delivery to the team and support functions for promoting overall development, reiteration of targets & objectives and enhancing efficiency.

- Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives. 


- Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel.

- To meet key personnel to understand market trends, competitor's activities and continuously search for new opportunities to improve business.
