Head of Credit - CRE

Relevant Experience: Minimum 10 years in credit management, with significant exposure to the real estate finance industry.

Proven experience in team handling.

Qualification: MBA, CA, or CFA

Industry: Extensive experience in credit management within the real estate finance industry.

Preferred background in Investment Banking (IB) or Financial Institutions, specifically in the Real Estate Department.

Reporting To: Senior Management

Location: Mumbai-HO with travel as per the requirements of the role.

- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented and results-driven, focused on delivering high-quality work and achieving organizational objectives.

- Proficient in financial modelling, cash flow analysis, and real estate-specific financial analysis.

- Strong negotiation skills and ability to liaise with bankers and external agencies.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

- Analytical skills, attention to detail, financial acumen, and integrity.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the credit function, ensuring robust evaluation and approval processes.

- Interact with clients to understand their requirements, collate necessary data, and prepare and submit proposals to Banks/FIs.

- Conduct in-depth credit assessments involving financial, credit, legal, technical, economic, and risk analysis.

- Structure proposals, review information memoranda, teasers, financial models, cash flow, and CMA projections.

- Maintain a solution-oriented attitude, resolving queries from banks and clients.

- Build and maintain relationships at top levels of financial institutions.

- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate finance landscape, providing strategic insights to senior management.

- Oversee transaction structuring, due diligence, and documentation.

- Manage multiple transactions concurrently.
