About our Client - Our client is a leading brand in the chemicals and manufacturing space in the country. With global presence in over 20 countries and a worldwide turnover over 15 billion dollars, they are focusing on India as a key contributor in their Asia pacific network. They are currently looking for an in-house expert to manage their indirect tax function, based out of their corporate office in Gurgaon

Job Description - Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage a team of three individuals with your main responsibilities including:

- Responsible for Credit Control Operations for India, monitoring of Customer exposures and Past Dues for releasing credit holds

- Responsible to comply with Global Credit Policy, ensuring proper approvals for Credit decisions as per global policy, train commercial team on credit policy and manage communication of local issues for the global policies

- Work on credit insurance, credit rating of top customers to comply with Global requirements on credit scoring. Find solutions where credit scoring is challenging due to lack of data by ensuring regular information about customer's credit worthiness by visiting customer, feedback from the market and sales team.

- Partner with Business and SCM for Customer specific operational issues; liaise with Tax, Business, Operations and Commercial Finance to ensure resolution to Customer Issues from a Finance perspective. Balance Customer exposures with Business growth objective

- Drive Statutory form collections with Commercial Team, lead Customer focused operational reviews with Sales and SCM Teams

The Successful Candidate - You must be a Chartered Accountant or a MBA with a strong experience of at least six years with an exposure to manufacturing industry based credit controls. Good communication skills are a must.
