Job Title: Credit Analyst

Location: Mumbai

Education & Experience :

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory; an MBA in Finance, Accounting, or related fields is a plus.

- 3 - 6 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably within credit rating firms, financial services, or corporate banking.

- Expertise in credit risk assessment, financial statement analysis, and loan structuring.

Key Skills:

- Deep knowledge of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, with a strong focus on credit assessment and determining creditworthiness.

- Proficiency in evaluating clients' financial health, understanding solvency and liquidity ratios, and conducting comprehensive risk assessments.

- Expertise in preparing detailed credit reports and making sound credit decisions based on in-depth financial analysis.

- Strong understanding of credit products, debt instruments, loan agreements, and credit documentation.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.

- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and market trends related to credit management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Perform detailed analysis of financial statements to assess clients' creditworthiness, focusing on corporates, financial institutions, and other entities.

- Conduct thorough credit assessments, including liquidity analysis, profitability evaluation, and stress testing to gauge clients' financial resilience.

- Prepare comprehensive credit rating reports that outline key risks, financial strengths, and recommended credit actions.

- Collaborate with relationship managers and internal teams to provide tailored credit solutions for clients, aligning with their financial goals.

- Monitor ongoing credit exposures and recommend risk mitigation measures as necessary.-

- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines during the credit rating process.

- Stay current on industry trends, economic indicators, and market risks that could affect credit ratings and client portfolios.
