Credit Analyst - Global Corporates
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Global Corporate clients and undertake objective detailed due diligence of borrowers / industry.
- Managing end to end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per the Banks credit processes and procedures collaborating with other stakeholders (Relationship Managers, Product teams and Credit Officers / Approvers).
- Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
- Preparation of periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
- Support Relationship Managers / Senior Credit Analysts in the department on adhoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
- Audit management - Internal, External including regulatory inspections
- Ability to multi-task and manage ever-changing and often conflicting priorities; Ability to work with a high level of motivation and initiative; Work diligently to develop technical skills and industry knowledge related to the role.
- Ensure accurate and timely compliance with internal policies and reporting procedures.
Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience in fundamental Corporate analysis gained in either a bank, asset manager or rating agency environment.
- There should be an emphasis on credit analysis in the context of a transaction or event, or a strong motivation to move into a more transaction driven environment.
Functional / Technical Competencies:
- Experience of covering Global Corporates.
- A good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
- Understanding of market risk and ISDA documents would be preferred/ beneficial.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg / CapIQ and similar systems.

- Strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage workloads and tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong numerical skills
- Must possess excellent communication and report writing skills.
Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Business/ Finance
- Other financial professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, Accountancy, FRM) will be seen as highly beneficial.
