The Credit Analyst will manage the credit risk of principals (Investment Funds, Pension Funds, and Insurance Companies) under agency arrangements globally, playing a key role in client onboarding and credit risk management.
Responsibilities
Credit Analysis:
- Complete credit analyses on a portfolio of principals under agency arrangements.
- Collect credit requests from business lines and previous credit decisions.
- Create requests in the Credit Process Administration tool.
- Gather necessary documentation and data points for analysis.
- Apply the rating policy to principals.
- Produce and format reports for limit and exposure monitoring, and other ad hoc reports.
- Report and recommend limits as per policies.
- Verify delegation levels and determine the type of analysis needed for all counterparties.
- Prepare, compile, and circulate books and committee packs.
Portfolio Monitoring:
- Prioritize urgent requests to meet clients' expectations while ensuring timely annual reviews.
- Continuously monitor the portfolio and report any credit warning signals using market intelligence and available financial information.
Specific Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Financial Markets, or other relevant areas.
