What you have :

- Master's degree in finance or equivalent / Chartered Accountancy plus International CFA / FRM.

- Proven experience in credit risk assessment / credit underwriting with credit rating agency or captive units of large multinational banks / third-party service providers.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to write in a concise manner.

- Ability to complete deliverables with minimal or no supervision.

- Knowledge and ability to assess credit products, credit terms & conditions and credit documentation, including financial covenants, security, and collateral.

- Experience in using market data tools and external resources like S&P Capital IQ, SNL, Bloomberg, Moody's, and Credit Sights.

What you'll do :

- Write a well-researched concise credit proposal either for the purpose of an annual review or for a new business deal, which highlights existing and emerging key credit risks and probable mitigants to the risks identified.

- Proactively monitor the assigned portfolio and track related client / industry / economic / regulatory news, as well as early warning indicators.

- Liaise with functional manager(s) as well as different teams in the organization to submit credit proposals within the agreed timelines.

- Manage own workload and volunteer for additional work during peak periods within the Team.

- Stay abreast on current developments of the portfolio covered as well as incorporate the same in deliverables.

- Maintain BNYM internal control standards.


- Understand and comply with all relevant policies, guidelines, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirement as issued by the organization.
