Credit AIF Compliance Role - CS

Responsible for the Regulatory and statutory compliances of Alternative Investment Funds ("AIF") with minimal supervision including:

- Adherence with various statutory regulations applicable to AIFs including SEBI/RBI/PMLA.

- Reporting/filing with respective authorities under various regulations.

- Responsible for KYC's and investor onboarding with RTA/Distributors.

- Coordinating with third-party/offshore administrators.

- Carrying out secretarial work for the AIF, including drafting of Investment Committee Minutes.

- Keeping proper records of all the documents for internal/external audit.

- Monitor regulatory updates in relation to AIF industry and update/train investment team on latest developments in AIF industry including ongoing compliances.

- Active involvement in setting up of the AIF - to put the compliance process in place before the fund is launched including finalizing Forms/KYC requirements, etc.

- Framing Policies to be adhered by the AIF and regularly update of the Polices.

- Preparing Agenda for the Board/Investment Committee Meeting.

- Liaise with Trustees/RTAs/Tax and legal consultants/Auditors for various legal and regulatory matters including demat of units, finalization of accounts, etc.

- Work closely with Accounts team to ensure that regulatory compliances are completed within timeline.

- Work closely with investment team to ensure that investors reporting are completed within timeline.

- Addressing investor Grievances.

- Advising various functions including investment team on any compliance/legal queries.

Functional Competencies:

- Well versed with SEBI regulations in relation to AIF, VCF, PMLA, KYC etc

- Understanding of AIF Related laws and regulations.

- Proficient in MS Word and working knowledge of MS Excel

- Good drafting skills

Education qualification:

- A qualified Company Secretary having an experience of 6-7 years in the AIF/PE industry (having LLB as additional degree will be an added benefit)
