Job Overview:
As the Head of Operations at CredFlow, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, driving operational excellence, and ensuring seamless delivery of services to our clients. You will play a key role in developing and executing strategies that enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and ensure scalability of our operations as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize processes, improve productivity, and enhance overall business performance.
- Design and oversee scalable systems to support the companys growth while ensuring operational efficiency.
- Align operations with business goals, working closely with senior leadership to contribute to strategic planning.
- Work with product team to automate processes and drive operational efficiency to keep cost of ops minimal with low chances of errors.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, manage, and mentor the operations team, ensuring high performance and a positive work environment. (Currently the ops team size is 4 and slated to grow aggressively as the business grows)
- Provide guidance on resource allocation, team structure, and performance metrics.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and innovation within the operations department.
Process Optimization and Efficiency:
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and technology solutions to streamline workflows.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational dashboards to monitor and measure team performance, efficiency, and success.
- Continuously assess the performance of operational processes and ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Manage and mitigate risks associated with operational activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards in the fintech industry.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure company operations are in line with applicable regulations and standards.
- Establish and enforce operational policies and best practices.
- Ensure all relevant processes created are being followed to avoid any operational lapses increasing portfolio risk.
Customer and Stakeholder Management:
- Enhance customer experience by ensuring that operations teams meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) and deliver on customer expectations.
- Act as a point of contact for key stakeholders to address operational concerns and provide status updates.
- Monitor customer feedback and use it to inform operational improvements.
Financial Management:
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting for operational expenses.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources, keeping operational costs within budget while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Technology and Innovation:
- Work closely with the technology team to implement and optimize fintech platforms, ensuring smooth integrations with existing systems.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies that could enhance operational capabilities and improve overall business outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a fintech or financial services company.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.
- Strong experience in process optimization, risk management, and customer experience management.
- Familiarity with fintech products, services, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- High-level proficiency in operations management tools, CRM systems, and financial management software.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments (Sales, Tech, Finance, etc.).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
