- The Creative Director/Creative Supervisor/3D Art Supervisor establishes the creative vision for the production in order to deliver a visually impactful story


- He/She has to analyse the script to understand the overall mood and flow. He/She must also develop the visual styles of the content.


- Additionally, He/She guides the creative teams in delivering quality art and animation assets, as well as the the creative process when planning promotional activities for developed content.

- He/She must be able to lead and formulate the creative direction of projects, and must be effective in planning and stakeholder management.


- He/She should have a flair for storytelling and the ability to visualise stories. He/She should also be adept in 2D and 3D art as well as animation to be able to guide the creative teams.

Responsibilities

i. Allocate project roles to creative team leads.

ii. Approve creative assets after final review with the creative leadership.

iii. Approve use of new technology, practices and features to achieve the creative vision based on cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment.

iv. Approve vendor selection for outsourcing creative asset development for special requirements.

v. Communicate project status, prioritised goals and updated timelines to the creative project teams regularly.

vi. Contribute to the alignment of technical and creative production with the creative and technical leadership.

vii. Define overall creative priorities and the creative pipeline to align workflows for creative teams.

viii. Define the creative vision of the production in collaboration with the creative leadership team.

ix. Develop the creative production budget for the project in consideration of the creative scope, budget and timeline.

x. Develop the creative production schedule with inputs from creative team leads in line with the overall production schedule.

xi. Drive artistic direction, visual style and quality of production standards.

xii. Drive the communication of project schedule and timelines to the creative team.

xiii. Guide creative project teams with inputs on the artistic direction and means to achieve the creative vision.

xiv. Guide creative teams in interpreting the creative vision of the project.

xv. Liaise with live-action production and creative teams to align creative objectives and operations.

xvi. Oversee changes to creative scope and assets based on technical production requirements and constraints.

xvii. Provide creative inputs to the development of effective marketing campaigns for the content.

xviii. Provide iterative inputs for refinement by reviewing creative assets with the creative leadership.

xix. Set standards of quality for the creative teams.

xx. Sign-off creative assets after creative and technical approval.
