Creative Director
- 12+ years experience in an ad agency, design firm or in-house marketing communications department
- Ability to lead and work both at a strategic (creating marketing/advertising campaigns from developing vision and the message) and (overseeing production on time and budget) execution level
- A hawk's eye for detail and penchant for design
- Demonstrated experience managing creative processes through external ad agencies, internal teams and freelancers.
- Past experience creating integrated content and a fair understanding of offline and print
A day in the life as Creative Director @811 :
- Supervising a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, social media experts, photographers/videographers, and project managers in the strategic development of messages and deliverables
- Making cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop ad strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions.
- Leading creative development for key initiatives across channels
- Prioritizing work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term needs, establishing production schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production team
- Brainstorming with the creative team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner
- Reviewing art and copy developed by the team, ensuring deliverables that effectively address marketing goals and challenges
- Producing fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences
- Presenting, or oversee presentation of final concepts, and obtain approvals for deliverables
