CPMO Finance Lead
Overall purpose of role:
- Department financial process owner including a continuous improvement to the effectiveness of tools and techniques
- Financial Modelling, Business Planning & Analysis
- Growth Strategy Development
- Tracking and reporting against the performance of the business cases
- Reporting project programme/project performance against agreed Management Information (MI Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting
- Costing & Benefit Realization and Mitigation
- Compliance, Risk & Regulatory (applicable to finance)
- Stakeholder Management
- Line Management including team development, performance reviews and delivery
Person Specification:
Personal attributes essential to performing role including competencies, expertise, knowledge, and experience to include (but not exhaustive):
- Qualified Accountant
- Formal Accountancy qualifications
- Proven experience of working in large change programmes / multi-workstreams environments
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant & any formal Accountancy qualifications
- Proven experience of working in large change programmes / multi-workstreams environments
- Stakeholder Management
- Exec level reporting
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
- Problem-solving experience in complex financial situations
- Broad financial services experience
- Strong and broad understanding of the Infrastructure components
- Experience of delivering large scale transformation programmes in banking or financial organisation.
- Experienced PMO with a demonstrable track record working on FO driven initiatives with cross functional delivery impact. VP level demonstrable PMO experience
- Proven track record of defining and embedding controls, processes and structure
- In-depth Knowledge of Project Office and Project Management function
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Able to work with and present to senior stakeholders including Board Level.
- Experience of working with Technology to deliver complex projects.
- Understanding and experience of managing end date driven change.
- Thorough knowledge of project management methodologies.
