CPG Domain Specialist - Research/Analytics

We are currently scouting for CPG Domain Specialist with one of our leading clients in Research & Analytics in Pune

Job Responsibilties:

- To provide decision support & strategic planning to leading CPG manufacturers.

- The ideal candidate would have worked extensively with CPG manufacturers, as an employee or part of
vendor/consulting teams.

- He or she would have addressed market share objectives and delivered projects related to market & category understanding, distribution opportunities, stock compliance, return on channel strategy & trade promotions, pricing.

- This person would have delivered actionable insights on market share drivers, customer behaviour/preferences

- This person will have deep CPG domain expertise with knowledge to drive data analytics initiatives.

Key tasks:

- Resident guru for CPG – will be the domain content provider from go-to market phases to project execution.

- Devise strategies to meet clients market share objectives and lead teams with decision sciences & technology skillsets.

- Participate in employee engagement activities, including coaching & mentoring junior team members.

Skills:

- Platforms: SAS, R, SPSS, Advanced Excel (At least one)

- Techniques: Cluster Analysis, Forecasting techniques

- Familiar and has extracted insights from scanner/POS, panel/survey data

- Snacks experience a bonus

- BRIC experience a bonus
