Research & Development Scientist (CPG & CASE)

We currently have 2 open roles for R&D Scientist:

- CPG (Consumer Product Goods)

- CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants & Emulsifiers)

- Qualifications : Preferred (not mandatory) : Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry; Post-Doctoral studies preferred.

- Experience: 8 to 15 years of experience, including a significant tenure in a leadership role (Head/Group Lead) focused on the synthesis of various types of Specialty Resins and Vitamin A.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the product development and scaling of Specialty Resins and Vitamin A to align with business objectives.

- Develop commercially and environmentally sustainable processes for rapid scale-up.

- Oversee various Resins and Vitamin A-related projects originating from diverse global clients.

- Collaborate with manufacturing partners to troubleshoot production challenges and integrate customer feedback into both R&D and plant operations.

- Ensure a seamless transfer of technology from R&D to manufacturing for successful commercialization.

- Evaluate potential manufacturing partners for outsourcing Resins and Vitamin A production.

- Support adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.

- Work in collaboration with key functions, including Supply, Business Development, -Regulatory, and Manufacturing, to understand and implement project requirements effectively.

- Serve as Covvalent's representative to global customers as opportunities arise.

- Contribute to sustaining and enhancing the organization's culture as a senior team member.
