Roles and responsibilities:Sales and Business Development:- Utilize market research, industry analysis, and networking to identify and target potential customers effectively.
- Cultivate and nurture strong, enduring customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to drive sales growth.
- Skillfully negotiate terms and conditions with customers, consistently surpassing sales targets.
P&L Leadership:- Spearhead Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities for the specialty chemical business in India and emerging markets.
- Establish, monitor, and refine the sales funnel to optimize revenue generation and profitability.
Coordination and Alignment:- Act as a central liaison between different business sectors, ensuring seamless information exchange and strategic alignment.
Performance Analysis and Data-Driven Decisions:- Conduct thorough analysis of key performance metrics to gauge divisional progress and efficacy.
- Employ data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and improve overall performance.
Market Awareness and Strategy:- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform and refine business development strategies.
Qualification:- 4 - 8 years of experience in business development preferably in a B2B setup.
- Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and developing as well as executing sales strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the agrochemical sector, including market trends, products, and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
