Candidates with good understanding of the industry in which the specialty films are used ( Automotive, Electrical &Electronics, Appliances, etc)

Key Job Responsibilities:

- To work closely with the customers and provide the best sales & tech support to them.

- To remain updated about the customers and market trends.

- Constantly seek new business opportunities for specialty films - for existing and newly launched.

- To help in budgeting process and act as a source of information relevant to Specialty Films business

- Ensures that sales (volume & revenue) and cost budgets are achieved, stock levels are appropriated and forecast data is communicated regularly and timely.

- Supports the long term, strategic business development in India related to both marketing and technical aspects.

- Develops and maintains lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information gathered from multiple sources, including other Covestro Sales teams, newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.

- Calls on prospective customers at commercial, industrial, and other establishments to promote our products, services and capabilities; develops good relationships with potential and current customers.

- Reports on a regular basis sales and development activities.

- Work with other BU teams to realize the synergies and achieve the Objectives.

Qualification & Experience:

- Degree in Plastics Engineering / Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.

- Work Experience of 3-5 years of Sales or Technical Marketing in engineering plastic film and/or injection

Other Skill sets

- A good understanding of the industry in which the specialty films are used ( Automotive, E&E, Appliances, etc)

- Ability to maintain good customer relations

- Good analytical and technical skills including computer skill.

- Possess good communication & negotiation skills.

- Good verbal, written and strong interpersonal skills.

- Ability to plan and work individually.

- Willingness to learn and positive attitude.
