Country Risk Economist - Investment Bank

World's leading investment bank is looking to hire senior strategic risk economist to be part of enterprise risk management group to head macroeconomics and geopolitical scenario design team.

Responsible to lead and manage team of risk economist and reporting to MD - Global Head

Some of the Key Responsibilities:

- Designing and calibrating new stress scenarios, recalibrate existing scenarios using quantitative tools

- Review the existing scenario suite and lead the continuous evolution of the scenario suite considering external market/geopolitical conditions

- Closely engaging with asset classes risk specialist, quantitative model owners.

To qualify for this role, you will require:

- Qualified degree in economics and experience in translating macro-economic and market concepts into plausible risk factor shocks in hypothetical stress scenarios.

- Decent understanding of financial markets
