Our client is a prominent player in the chemical distribution sector with key supplier and customer network
Job Description:
- Ultimate accountability for the strategy, operations and financial results of the company.
- Direct responsibility to develop & grow new agencies, and new business - Successfully grow the existing business while aggressively seeking new business relationships. (Get & grow new principals)
- Foster a culture of agility, accountability, integrity, and high performance.
- Institutionalise processes/ Drive operational efficiencies through optimising internal processes (initiate, propose & implement process improvements in areas of technology, customer service, tools, etc.)
- Build strong networks with decision-makers and influencers in both public and private sectors to enhance the company's visibility.
The Successful Applicant:
A successful CEO should have:
- Experienced professional with at least 15 years of experience in sales & business development in the specialty chemicals industry. (Experience selling to the coatings/construction chemical industry will be an added advantage)
- Graduate degree in Chemistry (reputed college) & Post Graduate Degree (preferably in Business)
