Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive operational strategy and roadmap for the India office to scale operations to 150+ FTEs, aligning with the company's global operational goals and standards.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and customer-centricity.
- Manage the India Team Leads, coordinating their workloads and team capacity while providing mentorship to assist in their skills development and career planning
- Establish robust processes, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and technology implementation to drive operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices within the operations team.
- Manage the operations budget, allocating resources effectively and driving cost optimization initiatives.
- Represent the India operations in stakeholder meetings, client engagements, and industry forums, demonstrating a professional and suave demeanor.
- Manage and interact directly with clients in the US and Europe
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in back-office operations with progressively increasing responsibilities and size of teams managed, preferably in a leadership role within the information services, financial services, offshore outsourcing firm, or a related industry
- At least 3-years of experience managing operations teams >50 FTEs for a company based in the US or Europe
- Proven track record of successfully establishing and scaling operations, preferably in a high-growth environment.
- Exceptional leadership, people management, and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders in the US and Europe.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and process improvement techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Demonstrate strong grit and tenacity with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Can think strategically to guide India operations while also able to master and execute on the details
