- Travel requires a frequent travel to US, Srilanka, Canada and within India

- This position does not have technical delivery responsibility

- Must be from Technical company background - Not from Non-IT company background

Job Descriptions & Responsibilities

- Responsible for overall operations and administration.

- Experience with over 15 plus of experience in IT and management experience

- Education: MBA or Technical graduate from reputed university.

Finance:

- Responsible for ensuring the proper working of Finance department, contract approvals & signing.

- To ensure the authenticity of all the financial transactions, agreements, contracts happening at SL

- Maintaining Legal Compliance to reduce liability risk.

- To ensure employee salaries are happening on time.

- Discussions (whenever needed) with the CFO, statutory auditors and chartered accountant for the preparation of balance sheet.

- Signing of balance sheet, all legal documents, contracts and other such required documents in the capacity of a director.

- Maintaining the confidentiality with regards to all the activities related to finance and accounts.

HR and Recruitment:

- Ensuring that the right candidates with the right skill set are hired at the right time and at the right cost.

- Ensuring that HR department has got right tools, databases and portals and required budget in order to hire good candidates.

- Ensuring that we have proper employee induction process, exit process, employee manual and making sure that every new employee goes through the initial induction process which includes sharing of knowledge with regards to company, clients, processes, and way of working, shift timings and other such details that are needed for the smooth working of any employee.

- To ensure all kind of legal compliance as per the labor laws in terms of employee hiring, benefits, safety, security, health insurance & accident insurance etc..

- Discussing with the management for getting the approvals for time to time increments and other benefits (like transportation, snacks, allowances etc - ) for employee satisfaction.

- Ensuring the confidentiality, safety and security of employees, premises, assets.

- Providing information required for the monthly board meeting.

Infrastructure:

- Ensuring that every employee has got right tools, hardware, software, phone lines and other such things for the proper and smooth handling of client support.

- Signing of contracts & discussions with the hardware vendors for price negotiations whenever and where ever required.

- Ensuring that we have scalable & right and good quality network devices like firewalls, switches, VOIP phones and they are properly setup and configured considering the future growth in order to handle network traffic efficiently.

- Ensuring that we have good quality, high speed, near zero downtime Internet leased lines in order to provide zero downtime smooth client support.

- Ensuring that we have enough redundancy in terms of Internet leased lines, Power, Hardware, network devices so as to avoid any downtime thus affecting client support.

- Ensuring that all the employee hardware problems are properly recorded and resolved at the earliest and standby solution is provided to the employee in case of bigger hardware issues.

- Implementation of standard best practices, processes, procedures and working instructions to ensure consistent high-quality services to the clients.

- Coordinating with upper management, US directors on team & work status, achievements, support issues, client requirements, resource allocation etc -

- Mentor and motivate team members on regular basis.

- To ensure that there are proper systems and processes in the team in order to handle the clients in a proper and timed manner.

- To ensure that new DBA gets proper knowledge transfer from the shift leads & team members in regards to the client environment, escalation procedures and do's & don- ts.

- To ensure that all the tickets in the ConnectWise are handled in time and as per the priority without missing the SLA's and helping team to keep MTTS (Mean Time to Start) and MTTR (Mean Time to Resolve) to minimum.

- To ensure that proper knowledge transfer of the pending tasks is happening during the shift handover and shift handover document is updated over the intranet with the required information.

- To make sure there is a right talent in the team based on the client needs and requirements.

- Based on the specific client support needs, to arrange for the suitable training program if needed.
