Country Leader (India) - GTM
The Country Leader will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales teams, and driving revenue growth across multiple unions / states within India. This role demands a high level of leadership, strategic thinking, and sales acumen to ensure the companys competitive positioning and growth in the region.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with Our Client Software Global objectives.
- Identify market opportunities and drive initiatives to capitalize on them across multiple unions / states.
- Set and achieve new software sales targets for the region, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
Team Leadership and Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales teams, setting and achieving sales targets for each country / product.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture focused on exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer value.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability, ensuring financial targets are met in all countries.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent across the region.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key customers and strategics accounts across the region.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Address and resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
Market Analysis and Insights:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence.
- Adapt sales strategies to meet the evolving needs of the market.
Revenue and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and implement corrective action as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with other regional leaders and global teams to align sales strategies and initiatives.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer supports teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative sales techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced
degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role within the software or technology industry,
with experience managing multiple countries or regions.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets.
- Strong understanding of the regional market and regulatory environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
