About Our Client

Amira Foods is a 1600 crores, a hundred year old company into processing, branding and distribution of agricultural commodities. It was India’s largest privately held rice company, and has recently been listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The company is looking to embark on an ambitious expansion plan across the world and hence, are looking to hire exclusive Country Heads for China, Mexico, and African Countries

Job Description

Reporting to the Company Chairman, you will be responsible for:

- Setting up the business in the respective country in the Private label and Branded business.

- Appointing distributors and set up the export business (logistics/Insurance etc).

- Coordinating with buyers and trade partners in the respective markets.

- Dealing with legal/law authorities, in terms of acquiring relevant clearances to conduct business.

- In addition to this, you will be responsible for launching the business in respective country, and build up the
sales and distribution network from scratch and establish the team for the organization.

The Successful Applicant

- You will have at least 10 years of experience in a sales/business development capacity with prior experience in the respective international location which is a must. The candidate should have already existing knowledge of the market and should be familiar with the territory.

- The candidate should be well versed with local trade laws and a working knowledge of the respective markets. The client is looking for someone who has had experience of establishing businesses, and leading teams. As a person you should come across as confident and hands on person with the ability to open and close the deals
