Corporate Policy & Research Role - Law Firm

An Established Law firm is Hiring candidates for Corporate Policy & Research:-

Role and Responsibility:-

- Policy formulation, drafting and monitoring of legislative agendas for clients particularly in involving sectors of Anti-Corruption Laws, Economic & Corporate Laws, etc

- Research and advice on sensitive client matters and on policy matters, particularly on new and complex areas of law

- Drafting opinions and memoranda for clients on their specific queries or on regulatory areas

- Writing articles and contributing to know-how produced for the external market such as generating high quality and thought leadership-based articles and books on a regular basis to help the firm maintain a strong market profile. All publications would be co-authored with Partners so that the firm can absorb the goodwill.

- Engaging with the various regulators and providing them research and drafting support at various stages of policy and law-making such as Securities Exchange Board of India, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Reserve Bank of India and the Law Commission of India.

Candidate Requirement:-

- Strong analytical and writing skills with an academic bent of mind

- Bachelors / Master's in law, public policy or Ph.D. / Research Fellow at any reputed think-tanks in the country

- Work experience of research, writing articles/papers around legal aspects of corporate policy and regulatory mechanisms will be advantageous

- An understanding of macroeconomic and legal issues and how they relate to policy and policy development
