Responsibilities:-
- To assist in the day-to-day legal support through individual and team contributions and through effective management of external and internal legal resources to ensure that the Company is compliant with all applicable laws.
- To partner with internal teams to assist with making effective improvements in the business processes, training, policies, and procedures, that are related to legal issues.
- To negotiates, drafts and prepares contracts and other legal documents. Author correspondence, legal memoranda, and reports.
- To assist with investigations, providing responses to government agencies, regulators, and litigation support.
- Assist with corporate governance and the corporate secretary function, including preparation of materials for board of directors and committee meetings in India. Management of direct reports (reporting to the role)
Requirement: -
- Education- LLB from a reputed institute in India and having membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries (CS) of India.
- Experience- 5-6+ years post qualification of experience in an organization of repute 2-4 Years stint at a leading law firm Preferable exposure to startup ecosystem and financial services
- Certification- Company Secretaries (CS)
- Technical Skills- Excellent legal contract drafting & advisory skills, Ability to manage board level presentations & directives PC Skills Adequate knowledge MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Other Skills
- Advanced written and oral communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of the organization while exercising sound judgment, self-confidence, and respect for others
- Ability to identify and articulate practical legal solutions in a useful and easily understood manner while partnering with the client to ensure successful implementation.
