One of the Tier one law firms is looking to hire GC Plus Real Estate lawyer with 3-5 years of experience for there Chennai office.

Job Description:

- Real Estate Transactions: Handle a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development of corporate real estate assets.

- Legal Advising: Provide legal counsel to corporate clients regarding real estate matters, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and leases.

- Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on real estate assets, including title searches, zoning compliance, environmental assessments, and property inspections.

- Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, and other real estate-related documents to protect the corporation's interests and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to real estate, zoning, land use, and environmental issues. Ensure corporate compliance with these regulations.

- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential legal risks associated with real estate transactions, and provide strategic advice to mitigate these risks.

- Litigation Support: Collaborate with external litigation counsel when disputes or legal issues arise related to corporate real estate matters. Provide legal support and guidance throughout litigation.

- Property Management: Oversee property management, including tenant disputes, lease renewals, and eviction processes if necessary.

- Corporate Governance: Work closely with the corporate legal department to ensure alignment with the corporation's overall legal and business objectives.

- Open for relocation candidates as well. Kannada language would be added advantage.
