Role: Corporate HR Location: Gurgaon
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with the company's objectives
- Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and employee development
- Act as a business partner and collaborate with senior management to address HR-related challenges and provide guidance and support
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations, ensuring fair and consistent treatment
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, utilizing mediation and conflict resolution techniques
- Drive employee engagement and retention efforts through various initiatives and programs
- Develop and implement performance management systems to foster a culture of high performance and accountability
- Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Conduct job evaluations and develop compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness
- Oversee learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in HR, and recommend improvements and changes as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of HR initiatives and projects
- Generate HR reports and analytics, providing insights to leadership for informed decision-making
- Manage and monitor HR budgets and resources effectively
Requirements:
- MBA/MSW/LLB or equivalent degree in HR or related field
- Minimum 16 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a multinational organization
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience in managing employee relations and resolving conflicts
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in HR systems and technology
- Prior experience in the automotive industry or with Tier 1 supplier OEMs is a plus
