About our Client: Our client is amongst the leading Indian chemical companies in India. A 500cr+ business, they currently have 4 factories with 2 more geenfield projects coming up next year. With an employee base of more than 500 employees, they are looking for a Corporate HR head to be based in Mumbai.

Job Description: Reporting into the MD of the business and managing a team of 1 at the plant, your responsibilities will include:

- Setting up all policies and processes from scratch including leave and attendance, compensation structures, the employee handbook etc.

- Putting in place job grades across all functions in the organization including those at the plant level

- Ensuring a robust PMS process is in place and driving a performance driven culture

- Ensuring all training needs across the organization are met with including liasioning with vendors for various training programs as required

- Ensuring a healthy pipeline of candidates internally for succession planning

- Ensuring the organisation is compliant on all labour related matters

The Successful Candidate:

- You will come with 10+ years of experience with experience in setting up processes from scratch.

- You will be willing to travel and will come with exposure to working in a manufacturing background at the corporate level. MBA is desirable.

- A proven track record or putting robust HR processes in place is essential for this role.
