Objective :
The Corporate General Manager Human Resources reports to the local General Management and is part of the Management Committee as well as functionally to the Group Human Resources Director. The person takes full charge of the HR function of India and manages a team of HR representatives. Additionally, this position will lead a variety of HR development projects at the Group at India level, coordinating the network of HR professionals, providing support in acquisition analysis, organization development and Indian HR personnel development.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Provide leadership and coordination of recruiting efforts, developing external networks with recruiters, human resources colleagues, academic institutions and industry associations.
2. Drive the development and maintenance of compensation and benefits programs that attract and motivate top caliber staff, are externally competitive and internally equitable while meeting Company objectives and strategy.
3. Lead change initiatives, including reorganization/restructuring functions, organization development, acquisitions/integration and workforce alignment.
4. Implementation and management of succession planning, career development, high potential identification, corporate training and talent retention programs. Monitoring of retention rates and retention concerns specifically concerned with key employees.
5. Design and implementation of new training and development programs in response to business needs, trends and opportunities.
6. Develop new tools and programs in conjunction with the global HR team and implement them accordingly within the region.
7.Coordination with Global HR colleagues to promote cross-business career moves and rotational assignments, including managing the internal job posting process.
8. Guide, counsel and coordinate the regional administration of the annual performance management and bonus program.
9. Provide career counseling and mentoring to key employees.
10. Provide HR policy guidelines and interpretation to management and employees.
11. Provide Industrial Relations related support to manufacturing and installation locations and lead company's position on collective bargaining.
12. Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Establish an environment of fairness equity and clearly delineated rules.
13. Partner with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
14. Lead HR due diligence and acquisition analyses on an as needed basis for the Group.
15. Provide high-level strategic guidance to other Group companies in India.
16. Oversee general administration of Corporate office with help of administration team for smooth functioning.
17. Compliance adherence as per global norms.

- Demonstrated analytical, project management and multi-tasking skills in Human Resource and Industrial Relations functions

- Highly organized and able to work well with people at all levels in the organization
- Able to work effectively on cross-functional teams and projects
- Capacity to collect a team of people coming from different parts of the organization
- MBA and / or Master's in HR,engineering, business or other relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years to 18 years of broad experience in Human Resources, with manufacturing environment experience ia highly preferred.
- Knowledge and fluency in English/Hindi
