Corporate Finance Professional - Property Developer

This role is to handle corporate finance for a large builder of repute in Chennai. Will report into the business head of the company.

The company is a listed entity, is engaged in Property Development mainly of Promotion of residential spaces in and around Chennai, and included in the panel of approved builders of south Indian bank, Kotak. HDFC, LIC Home Finance, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, SBI and other such reputed institutions.

Role will be based at their corporate office in Alwarpet, Chennai.

Besides other things, the role will encompass:

Lead the preparation of the annual operating expense and capex budgets and the monthly reforecasts through knowledge of the business and interactions with management.

Prepare variance analysis (including operational explanations) for monthly, quarterly, and annual results for distribution to upper management and other finance members

Manage, track and report on headcount activity through coordination with the HR department.

Interact with other finance members to identify month-end accruals through review of the monthly income statement and discussions with management.

Manage financial components of high-profile strategic and operational initiatives, offering opportunities for broad cross-functional interactions

Provide analysis to support short and long term decisions

Perform financial reviews of Approval for Expenditures, contracts, invoices, and related activity:

- monitoring financial performance

- reporting financial and operational results

- optimization of existing systems

Provide various financial information to the Finance and Accounting teams to support management and external reporting
