Title - Manager – Corporate Finance

Location – Gurgaon, India

Position reporting to – Chief Financial Officer

Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be providing leadership in the Finance Division. You will be leading a team and your responsibility includes:

- Ensure effective internal controls and Statutory Compliance, GAAP compliance and applicable central, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

- Hands on in M&A and Financial Restructuring (Group Companies/Subsidiaries)

- Maintain a comprehensive financial system

- Direct, manage and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions

- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting/MIS

- Account reconciliation and supporting documentation

- Quarterly report to corporate finance of profit and loss (P&L) adjustments

- Coordinate and implement process improvement and automation initiatives

- Maintain close business relationship with all the external and internal stakeholders to resolve financial/operational issues

- Monthly review of intercompany account balances, including confirmation/agreement of balances with counterpart

- Coordination of monthly settlement of all intercompany payable, receivable accounts

- Establishing the process for approving aging schedules

- Ensuring management is immediately made aware of any possible significant write-offs and elevating other concealment issues of concern

- Perform regular routine Quality Assurance reviews (QA reviews) on sample reconciliations to confirm that quality is being upheld and the global reconciliations policy complied with

As a successful applicant:

- You must be a Chartered Accountant with at least 8 years of post qualification experience with the aforementioned role from a service industry.

- Strong communication skills are a must.

- Good understanding of IFRS and prior knowledge of SAP/Oracle is preferred.

- You would possess financial accounting knowledge with sound understanding of revenue, capital, balance sheet, cost and head count measures. You would have the ability to take initiative, engage effectively with offshore clients and excellent people management skills.
