Corporate Banking Relationship Manager:

The Corporate Banking Relationship Manager (RM) plays a crucial role within a bank, acting as a trusted financial advisor for corporate clients. They are responsible for building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and developing tailored financial solutions to help businesses grow and achieve their goals.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

- Identify and prospect for new corporate clients within a designated market segment. (Loan and Advances)

- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients through regular communication and acting as a trusted advisor.

- Oversee client onboarding procedures, ensuring a smooth integration with the bank's services.

Business Development and Sales:

- Analyze client financials and business needs to identify suitable financial products and services. (Working Capital, Short Term Loan, Term Loan, Supply Chain Finance, Bill discounting under Letter Of Credit)

- Souring New to Bank customers increases liability Business and generates FX revenue.

- Structure and propose financing solutions, including loans, lines of credit, trade finance, and cash management services.

- Negotiate terms and present proposals to clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of the bank's offerings.

- Achieve set sales targets for new business generation.

Credit Analysis and Risk Management:

- Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential borrowers, analyzing financial statements and industry trends.

- Work closely with credit risk teams to ensure transactions comply with bank policies and regulations.

- Monitor existing loan portfolios and proactively manage credit risks.

Market Knowledge and Expertise:

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and new financial products relevant to the target corporate segment.

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with internal teams like treasury, legal, and compliance to ensure smooth transaction execution.

- Prepare reports and presentations on client activity, portfolio performance, and market trends.
