What are we looking for?
1. To assist in the conduct of the audit and suggest corrective measures for better and more efficient processes.
2. Support to the outsourced auditor for timely closure and report issuance.
What does the job entail?
Conduct In-house Audits for Corporate functions
1.Prepare and Ensure
2. Quality of Scope document
3. Quality of risk assessment
4. Quality of audit observations
5. Audit report drafting
6. Adherence to audit timelines
7. Adherence to the audit process
8. Preparation of Audit program and checklist
Implementation of Audit Observations1. Ensure the implementation of the corrective measures by the process owners as per the commitment made to the audit committee & senior management.
2. Follow-up with process owners for replies.
3. Monitor the implementation of the corrective measure within the required TAT and in an efficient manner.
4. Support the process owners in developing recommendations for corrective actions and implementation.
Handling & Closure of Audit Assignment1. Independent handling of assignment - Discussion and closure of deviations with Auditee / Stakeholder with minimal escalations to the next level.
2. Adherence to Audit Timelines.
3. Auditee Management.
Adhoc reviews1. Taking up and ensuring End-to-end start and closure of ad-hoc reviews independently every quarter (Beyond BAU IA Plan).
2. Vendor Management
3. SLA / Engagement of New Vendors (Onboarding).
4. Follow-up and closure / Submission of audit reports on time.
5. Timely processing of Invoice.
6. Necessary Support (Infra / Escalations).
Education:1. Semi CA/ CIA, CISA.
Work Experience:1. Minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience over and above 3 years of articleship in internal audit.
2. Minimum one year of Audit experience from BFSI sector/ SOX Audit.
Skills:1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Data management.
3. Ability to see through processes/gaps and identify key solutions.
4. Effective communication skills/presentation skills.
5. Proficient in MS Excel.
6. Understanding of the Financial Services Industry / Insurance industry and its regulations.
7. Audit, Risk, and internal control understanding.
