1. Formulate; Implement; Review and to continuously improve - quality system projects and programs related to environment.

2. Ensure all statutory requirements related to environment are complied with.

3. Co-ordinate with statutory authority like PCB, CPCB for necessary approvals, audits and compliance.

4. Monitor all environment related parameter and ensure that they are as per the norms.

5. Conduct environment impact assessment and propose corrective action and preventive action.

6. Monitor all environment related facilities such as ETP/ STP/ RO for proper working condition to get desired output.

7. Conduct necessary drills for compliance & awareness.

8. Co-ordinate with all stakeholders for communication and implementation of environment related programs.

9. Provide technical support for environmental related compliances & Keep records of all compliance documents

10. Continuously train employees on environment related aspects.

11. Conducting permit related pep-talks and other pep talks along with concerned shift in-charges
