Corient Business Solutions - Senior Accountant - CA

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and finalize financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Annual Accounts, Notes) for UK-based companies in accordance with IFRS.

- Reconcile bank accounts, revenue, and control accounts (VAT, PAYE, NIC) to determine the financial position with the UK HMRC.

- Conduct thorough ledger scrutiny to identify and rectify errors before finalizing accounts.

- Calculate corporation tax and prepare tax returns.

- Prepare VAT summaries, CT calculations, and debtors control accounts.

- Maintain high levels of quality control, on-time delivery, and accuracy in all work.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their expectations are met.

Required Qualifications:

- CA or equivalent accounting qualification.

- 2-3 years of experience in an Indian audit firm or industry.

- In-depth knowledge of UK accounting standards (IFRS).

- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.

- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
