Responsibilities:
- Strategy experience in Corporate transformation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Merger integration, Shareholder value analysis, Propositions for IT enabled change, IT on creating business value, Optimization of IT investments, Transforming IT to deliver improved capability and business results, Organization Strategy & Design, Culture, Leadership Effectiveness or Transformation Management. Prior consulting experience is preferred.
Minimum 4 to 8 years of relevant Strategy experience in Financial Analysis and Value Creation:
- Understand, describe and apply corporate finance concepts, interpret company annual reports, prepare data for analysis and identify relevant financial adjustments pertaining to a specific industry.
- Exercise alertness and intelligence to achieve accurate results efficiently.
- Understand and use tools and templates used in SVA delivery.
- Increase personal productivity and ensure standard practices across the team.
- Improve team productivity by suggesting / implementing improvements to existing tools in order to enhance the quality of the deliverable.
- Manage the SVA quality assurance checks for an SVA team, anticipate and plan for potential road-blocks in the delivery process and resolve issues / conflicts in delivery.
Structured Problem Solving:
- Compile data received into self explanatory models / spreadsheets which are easy to navigate, update with the minimal manual input.
- Display attention to detail and superior formatting in data and chart representation.
- Advise upon and review team members’ financial data and client deliverables.
Business Acumen:
- Develop and utilize industry knowledge to add value to the deliverable
- Identify industry specific operating metrics and link them to relevant financial metrics to identify the key value drivers for a client.
- Convert key data elements into the most appropriate chart representation with a cohesive presentation which serves as the final deliverable to the client.
- Deep knowledge of prevailing trends, financials and operating drivers across multiple industry segments.
Effective Communication:
- Counsel individuals on conveying, the financial and strategic insights that the SVA has identified.
- Display superior storyline building capabilities to deliver a powerful messages
- Understand the SVA methodology and apply the principles of value creation when reviewing the materials to be created.
- Guide individuals on innovation leveraging the SVA framework.
