Location : Gurgaon
Open for travelling (70%-90%) frequently to client site in Middle East and Europe
Responsibilities
- Support Risk Analytics team in delivering various analytical projects
- Work with Moody’s implementation team to help clients in adhering to Basel regulations
- Perform ad-hoc statistical analysis as needed and generate actionable reports
- Use SQL/SAS to extract and aggregate data from larger data sources
- Deliver end solution maintaining quick turn-around times and high quality standards
- Contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects
- Travel (70%-90%) frequently to client site in Middle East and Europe
Required experience and Skill Set
- Hands-on experience in implementing Basel II, ideally Basel III regulations, mainly Credit risk (Market risk knowledge is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of the Basel regulatory text, ideally GCC regulations (SAMA, CBUAE, CBB, etc.)
- Experience in preparing/validating the regulatory reporting to central banks
- Client facing experience
- Strong technical skill, problem solving skill, and quantitative aptitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Required Background
Experience: 3 to 6 Years
Education: Engineering, MBA, or Post-graduate in statistics/mathematics/economics/other quantitative disciplines from top tier institutes
Industry Type: KPO/Analytics/Research firms specializing in Analytics or bank captive analytics units
Skills: SQL, SAS, R, SPSS, MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint), VBA
