Core Skills for the position-
Bachelors/Masters degree and 4+ years of Business Analyst work experience (with 2+ year experience for Lead BA)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint and process flow charting tools like Visio
- Must have a solid ability to analyze complex business requirements and present findings to both internal and external stakeholders in a simple and comprehensible manner
- Must have excellent writing skills, with solid experience in writing functional and technical specification documents and detailed user stories
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
- Advanced knowledge in Agile SDLC and JIRA tool is a strong preference
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- A strong work ethic, with good attention to detail.
- Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills
- Previous work experience in Capital markets/Commercial Banking - Lending domain is a must
Brief Job Description -
1. Facilitate the development of a Customer Journey map that designs the set of steps that a customer will go through in order to complete their goal. Work with the Digital Service customer researcher (UX) to iteratively refine the Customer Journey to ensure that it is as simple as possible for a customer to achieve their goal.
2. Support the Digital Service Product Owner in Analyzing a broadly-defined area and using decomposition, define high-level epics and stories to create a well-organized, value-driven framework to provide a Digital Service Product Backlog. Epics and stories should follow a well-designed logical hierarchy to help our Digital Services teams understand the relationships between stories and epics and how they deliver the Digital Service Customer Journey.
3. Work with the Digital Service Product Owner to decompose the Digital Service into iterative versions that can be frequently deployed to production. All Digital Services shall start with a collection of Stories that form an MVP (minimum viable product).
4. Write individual clear and concise Stories and ensure that Digital Services development team is clear on what is required in a consistent format.
5. Define Acceptance Criteria for each Story Card using the MAKs Agile principles of Given, When, Then, such that there is a clear definition of when a Story Card can be signed off as completed.
6. Identifying related user stories and epics, grouping them into themes as necessary and documenting the interrelationship and associated business process flows as necessary. The interrelationship of user stories and epics should be well-understood and the implementation of stories across different functional areas may require some planning and coordination so that they are consistently implemented.
7. Assess the results of our quantitative user analysis to make informed decisions about where we can optimize our Customer Journey.
8. Working with the Digital Service Product Owner Review the results of the Digital Service development teams work and determine if a Story Card can be signed off or not.
9. Work with the Digital Service Product Owner to design and implement a set of tests to determine if the Digital Service is meeting it's designed KPI's once deployed into production.
10. Works with the Digital Services team to help them understand the details of a Story and it's Acceptance Criteria in order to help them estimate Tasks when carrying out planning poker.
11. Analyzes business requirements to understand the business needs and to determine how systems and applications can best functionally fulfill those needs
12. Responsible for delivering various project related artefacts throughout the Software Development Lifecycle
13. Assist the Quality Management Team to ensure that documented requirements and corresponding use cases / process flows can be easily translated into test plans and test cases, and ensure that the testing process covers all identified scenarios and use cases.
14. Work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines, quickly learn new concepts as necessary
15. Communicate clearly with business users and project manager
16. Investigate and analyse information and to draw conclusions
