Role Purpose :
To ensure that the operations are run end to end for the start up eCommerce organisation in a smooth & effective manner, with least amount of pilferage, high customer satisfaction index on delivery of goods, good peoples manager & a great team player, with ability to meet the numbers on a quarter by quarter basis, should have a minimum of 3 - 5 years in the retail market space.
Reports to : CEO
Qualification : MBA ( Tier / 1 / Tier 2 ) - Marketing / Operations
Key Areas Of Responsibility And Accountability :
- Next in command to CEO
- Responsible for operations of the organisation
- Plan and execute expansion to new locations
- Responsible for glitch-free day to day operations of the company
Desired Skills :
- Must have worked in an e-retail company at a senior level
- Understanding of sourcing, logistics, category management, inventory handling, buying, customer service and other key functions of e-retail
- Understanding of back-end technology involved in e-retail
- Prior experience in setup and handling of fulfillment centers, logistics and last mile delivery
- Strong planning and analytical skills
- Experience in vendor management, negotiations, etc.
- Very strong execution capabilities
- Integrity credentials; Strong reference checks required.
