Convosight - Senior Financial Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities :

- The person would play a key role in driving the business agenda and would work as co-pilot in delivering the business results. This includes, among other things, responsibility for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting and to help business in decision support through data analysis and business insight.

- The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical and have the demonstrated ability to effectively manage finances of a high-growth business including -

- Prepare and model the business' strategic and financial plan. Provide insights to management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability

- Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance (e.g., GP analysis incl. Customer level GP, Activity level GP; Revenue analysis; Geographic analysis etc.)

- Evaluate previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets

- Performing variance analysis between budgeted and actual numbers

- Performing ad-hoc business analysis and financial modelling

- Facilitate financial reviews with business heads and work with them to ensure reporting of accurate financial numbers to stakeholders

- Identify, develop and execute data analysis to uncover areas of business opportunities

- Build new reports/dashboards to enable emerging business use cases

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

- Prior experience in Financial Consulting, Investment Analyst, Business Analyst

- Experience in conducting business analysis, revenue analysis, business forecasting and performance tracking

- Tier-1 Education background with 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; and Presentational skills

- Adept at interpreting financial information to derive business insights

- Experience with prioritizing multiple requests and managing tight deadlines

- Highly motivated with strong sense of accountability, initiative, and a 'can-do' attitude

- Excellent ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written communications)

- Time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

- Hands on skill on excel, google sheets, Power BI

Preferred Skills

- 8+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role

- Similar role at Series-A / Growth Stage Startup

- CA or MBA (Finance) Degree
