Business Analyst


Key Responsibilities:

- Requirements Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements.

- Business Process Analysis: Analyze and model business processes to identify opportunities for improvements and enhancements.

- Data Analysis: Leverage data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities that support business decisions.

- Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and propose solutions that meet business needs.

- Documentation: Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.

- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and expectations.

- Quality Assurance: Participate in testing efforts by defining test cases, ensuring requirements are met, and validating results.

- Project Support: Provide ongoing support during project delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals, and addressing any issues that arise.

- Continuous Improvement: Advocate for best practices and process improvements to drive operational efficiencies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field (MBA is a plus).

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques.

- Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and data analysis.

- Experience with business process modeling and workflow design.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and project management tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

- Problem-solving and analytical thinking to identify opportunities and implement solutions.

- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, and Visio.

- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or specific industry knowledge (IT, healthcare, or finance).

- Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

- Strong business acumen and an understanding of the industry in which the organization operates.
