Brief:

- Manage the operations in India. Core Responsibilities will be overseeing the tech operations (Dev, QA and Writing), Product Management, Marketing Operations, Sales and HR ( Recruiting, HR), Processes, Performance Management, Employee Accountability and Metrics. Ideally- must have experience managing a SaaS product company or at least an IT company. The goal size of this team is 75 -100 people in the next 6 -9 months. Experience with this is highly desired.

- ConvergePoint (www.convergepoint.com) is looking for a Head of Operations and Software Delivery to lead and manage the software delivery of our B2B SaaS products.

- We are a fast-growing software company helping a large variety of mid-size and large organizations including Fortune 500 companies across all industries with their regulatory compliance on Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365.

What you will be responsible for:

- Directly manage the deliverables and timelines of the Project Management, Software Development, Quality Assurance, UI/UX, Business Analysts, Technical writing, and Marketing teams in India

- Be responsible for all product releases on time and on budget

- Must be responsible for the quality release of the product including ensuring all user stories are being adhered to, working closely on ensuring that all tickets are being addressed and managing the entire lifecycle of the product

- Work closely with Owners in the US

- Have an intricate understanding of Agile Scrum and work with projects managers and be responsible for all Sprints, resource allocation, and on-time delivery of sprints

- Be responsible for on-time delivery of all new product versions to the marketplace.

- Work closely with the Dev team to introduce AI, ML, and other new technologies into the product

- Work closely with the QA team to ensure full QA automation testing and regression suites

- Ensure code reviews, best practices, and CI/CD for all products

- Must be extremely detailed oriented to ensure that all aspects of the project are captured in Azure DevOps and that all activity from user stories, development tasks, test plans, QA automation, CI/CD, and version history is maintained in great detail and all team members are following the processes and best practices.

- Work closely with the US Implementation and Support Teams

- Work closely with the Support Manager in the US to prioritize bugs and enhancements and resource allocation

- Be part of the core management team to transition to new product offerings

- Provide detailed weekly metrics and reports on resource utilization and project progress in Azure

- Introduce best practices and technologies to help streamline the technology operations of the company

- Be involved in approving hires for new roles in line with the core values of the company

- Take ownership and drive cultural change in the organization

- Be responsible for the continuous improvement of the product offerings and internal processes

Desired Skills:

- A Bachelors's in Computer Engineering is required. An MBA is preferred

- Demonstrated experience managing and delivering complex projects

- 20 + years of experience with at least 5+ years of software delivery experience

- Must have 5+ years of experience in managing Agile Scrum projects and/or Scrum Master experience

- Must have a technical or programming background

- Experience working with product companies is required. Must have an excellent understanding of product versions, release management

- Must have experience working with Azure DevOps.

- Should have managed a team of 30 to 50 members.

- Extensive experience in managing . C#, SQL, and similar Microsoft projects

- Should have worked directly with the US team

- Must be extremely detail-oriented

- Must have experience creating and implementing structured processes and documentation

- Must have experience working with product owners, implementation teams, development, quality assurance,

- Experienced in working with stakeholders to manage their expectations and engaging them to address project issues

- Excellent spoken and written skills

- Must be local to Chennai
