JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production of PRA and Fed Regulatory Capital computation/reporting:
Calculating and analysing of daily regulatory capital requirement under Basel III rule sets with a particular focus on Credit Risk
Investigation of issues and exceptions with various divisions of the firm
Collation, analysis & delivery of quarterly/semi-annual return/COREP returns and internal monthly capital reports
Submission of returns in an accurate & timely manner at varying frequencies, as stipulated by the regulator
Ad-hoc requests from senior management, regulator and other teams
Data quality review to identify areas of capital savings
Cross divisional collaborate (Credit, Technology, Regulatory policy, Corporate treasury, Legal entity/Product controllers, etc.)
Assist with reporting process changes following new regulatory reporting requirements
Ensure application of a robust control environment by performing key checks and controls proving data completeness and consistency across and between outputs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Chartered Accountancy is Preferred Accounting, Economics or Finance degree preferred, but not required
PREFFERED SKILLS
- Strong analytical / interpersonal skills and a high proficiency with Microsoft software applications
- Teamwork and collaboration-oriented, with the ability to work independently
- Must demonstrate considerable energy, focus, drive, and a sense of urgency
