Controller - Finance Division - IMD DHF - CA - BFSI

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Safeguard the assets and reputation of the firm by controlling and supporting the investment management division, as well as ensuring that they are in compliance with the firm's policies and with the rules/regulations that govern global financial markets

- Reviewing estimated and final NAV for hedge funds.

- Review Audited and un-audited financial statements and related reporting to Board of Directors.

- Handle reporting requirements to Senior Management and to IMD.

- Provide assistance in various regulatory filings.

- Work closely with other divisions, including: Business Teams, Product Services, Operations and IT

- Work closely with fund administrators and auditors.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

- Qualified CA with experience in the alternative investment/hedge fund's market and process management desired

Work Experience: 5-8 years

- Knowledge of financial statements preparation & review; USGAAP, IFRS knowledge and experience in coordinating with Big 4 accounting firms during audit cycle is desirable

- Industry knowledge and strong accounting knowledge. Accounting knowledge of financial products like Interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, currency options etc., is desired

PREFERRED SKILLS :

- Reviewing monthly NAV for hedge funds, review year-end financial statements and perform related activities

- Work closely with fund administrators and auditors

- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented

- Lead a team of professionals
