- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Consultant to join our growing cybersecurity team.

- In this entry-level role, you will work alongside experienced consultants to deliver a range of cybersecurity services to our clients.

- You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of cybersecurity, including vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, security awareness training, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Assessments:

- Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

- Support the analysis of security risks and vulnerabilities.

- Help in the preparation of detailed assessment reports.

Risk Management:

- Assist in performing risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.

- Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.

Security Awareness Training:

- Assist in developing and delivering security awareness training programs.

- Help in creating training materials and presentations.

Incident Response:

- Assist in responding to security incidents and breaches.

- Support the investigation and analysis of security incidents.

- Help in documenting incident response activities.

Compliance & Standards:

- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e. , ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

- Support clients in implementing and maintaining security compliance programs.

Research & Analysis:

- Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.

- Analyze security logs and data to identify potential security issues.

- Stay up to date on the latest cybersecurity news.

Client Communication:

- Assist in communicating with clients regarding security assessments, findings, and recommendations.

- Help in preparing and delivering presentations to clients.

Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security assessments, incidents, and other relevant activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.

- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux).

- Basic knowledge of security tools and technologies (e. , vulnerability scanners, firewalls, intrusion detection systems).

- Basic knowledge of scripting languages like python or bash is a plus.

Analytical Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to analyze security data and identify potential threats.

- Strong attention to detail.

Communication Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Strong interpersonal skills.

Soft Skills:

- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Certifications (Preferred):

- CompTIA Security + Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (Foundational)

- Other relevant entry-level cybersecurity certifications
